Everything good fell and part feel nice. Wet pop ups nicely and is delightful to take from the tamper. Perfect fit with flair 58x portafilter.

I have eight different tampers, and by far this is my favorite. I love that it can all stack into one unit, or you can separate the funnel for ease of deployment. The fact that you can ramp with the funnel in place means NO MESS - and the integrated WDT is pretty darn good. The “click” when reaching optimal pressure is just right - you can definitely hear and feel a positive “click” but it’s not so strong as to disrupt the ramped grounds and cause a fissure or channeling like some I own. This has become my primary daily tamper - and the weight, design and functionality are second to none. Highly recommend.

I have to say I'm extremely impressed with this 3 in 1 espresso tool from BOOKOO.It's a very small footprint for three very important tools in puck prep.What I really like most about this tool is the fact that the tamper fits inside of the magnetic dosing ring and allows you to tamp with the ring attached to your basket.There's 30 lb sprain included and preloaded into the tamper, unfortunately they do not provide interchangeable sprains so there's no 25 lb nor a 15 lb spring included. The bright side is you get 30 lb of pressure calibrated every time and the tamper is flawlessly easy to operate and tamp with.Another thing that I really love about this tool is that the WDT tool that is included is spring ejected, or pulled, from the top of the tamper, which you can do with one hand if you need to, and also with one hand if need be, you can retract the needles back into the tool very easily which also self-cleans the needles, and then loads into the tamper with a magnetic hold.I feel that with the 304 stainless and aluminum body and the build of this tool you are getting what you're paying for and it is very much worth the listed price.Bookoo includes six backup WDT needles that are 0.4 mm diameter as well as six 0.3 mm diameter needles. Also included as a miniature screwdriver tool for getting inside of your camper should you need to.I would definitely recommend this tool to anyone who enjoys prepping for espresso or home baristas alike.5 of 5 overall

I am unbelievably impressed with this company. I can rave about ghe tamper and I should but, they make nothing but incredible products. Regretting I didnt wait until yhe grinder cane out, and went with yhe Zerno 2. I have both the Themis Mini and Ultra, these are like I said, incredible. They are accuate, responsive, liok outstanding on any espresso/coffee bar. Stacked with features that I’d ask anyone to go read about, I am not listing them, but are endless. Im cimparing yhese to my Acaia Luner, S Pearl, Fellow Tally, and DiFluid, when I honestly only meeded one of these. If I were to pick between the two, Ultra. Back to the tamper. Love it, it’s beautiful, elegent, took the calipers to it it and right in tye money. Tamper, dosing ring, WDT, and the silicone pad, seriously?! You’d have to put itbin hand to then know what I’m really talking about. Im not down the list of other tampers I’m comparing this to, but the is my favorite, point, blank, period. Like sorry about the rant.

It’s simply an amazing tamper, no doubt. Cool small features like the WDT which can be easily cleaned by a snapping mechanism. Build quality feels very good so far. Fits perfect for 58mm baskets.

Everything about this espresso tamping tool far exceeds my expectations, and as someone that takes their coffee seriously as a barista both at home and working in the industry, my standards for quality tools are very specific, to say the least.The core function of this tamp, the calibrated spring weight, should be the standard for these types of tools as far as I'm concerned, since attaining the correct amount of pressure and doing so consistently is a must-have skill for espresso prep, and this tool does it flawlessly. After applying the correct amount of pressure, the spring releases and gives a very distinct click, and I've yet to observe any issues with the spring actuating, resulting in a consistent tamp every time.Next, the dosing funnel included has the added bonus of both magnetically adhering to your portafilter (and quite snugly, I might add), but also being able to stay on while using the tamp, which is a big help in reducing the number of steps in one's espresso workflow. Plus, being able to tamp with the funnel on also helps to stabilize the tamp when applying pressure so that it tamps as straight as possible.The crowning jewel for me, however, is the BUILT IN WDT tool. The tool is held in with magnets, but can just as easily be removed from the top, and in doing so, engages the needles making it ready to go. Once I'm done with it, I can just as easily sheathe the needles again, and pop the tool back into the tamp handle, and immediately use the whole tamp as intended. I have never seen this kind of multi-tool integration done before, at least not well, but this product does it flawlessly and for that I can wholeheartedly give it my backing.

This is a rather unique tool where your dosing funnel, tamper and WDT tool are kept together, and there's even a rubber base. Saves a lot of counter space.The WDT tool is very nice, self retracting and self cleaning. The retracting feature avoids a major cause of bending the wires, and it cleans them too.The tamper is rated for 30 pounds and has a flat bottom.

This espresso tamper kit is splendid, and it makes workflow a bit more convenient. To start, the build quality is outstanding. It's sturdy and heavy. The kit comes with the tamper, a WDT tool, a dosing collar or funnel, and a coaster for the tamper to rest in.WDT Tool: The WDT slides in and out of the handle of the tamper. The needles hide inside the handle of the WDT to protect them. Thanks to a spring-system, when you pull the WDT out of the tamper handle, they withdraw and are ready to use. When done, you slide the handle of the WDT, and the needles are protected again. Then you can put the WDT tool back into the tamper handle. This makes for a very convenient workflow, as nearly everything is right there in one tool. The WDT comes with additional needle sets too.Tamper: Again, the tamper's build-quality is top notch. Per BOOKOO, the tamper can reach 33 pounds or 15kg of impact power. I have some other tampers that have similar power, and I do admit that those seem to compress the grounds more aggressively. They are also a bit harder to compress. I have not tested the pressure with a scale, so it is possible my other tampers are not as accurate as this tamper. What I can say is that this tamper is consistent, and in the world of espresso, that's important. The tamper does have a click-feature that represents when you've reached the full compression. This is very convenient, and compared to other tampers with that feature, the click of this tamper is not startling or too loud. Note that this tamper has a flat bottom, so I have noticed that I sometimes get grounds that cling to the bottom due to static. This leads to me needing to tamp twice. Not a big deal, but I wonder if the ridged bottom would reduce that issue.Funnel: The dosing collar or funnel is magnetic and fits my basket perfectly. It has a slope along the rim that does a few things. First, it makes dosing easy, and it keeps the grounds in the basket while using the WDT tool. It also allows you to use the tamper with the funnel still in place. This keeps the process clean. As I noted before, I sometimes need to tamp twice, so what I usually do is tamp once with the funnel in place, remove the funnel, and tamp again. One other point about the funnel is that it seemed to be a bit of an after-thought. That's not said in relation to the quality. It's just that everything with this kit fits nicely together, but the funnel has no resting home. Maybe in the future they'll offer a stand to include a slot for it, but for now, it just sort of sits to the side.BOOKOO is quickly becoming a game-changer in the espresso industry. This tamper kit is no exception. A convenient workflow reduces headache and mess, so I really do recommend this kit. It comes with a great warranty, and they have a variety of ways to contact them for support. I look forward to using more of their products.

Amazing, truly. I have many tampers and this is the new favorite. Words can’t explain how smooth the tamp and release are in comparison to competitors. You have to feel it to understand. Other feel almost crunchy when getting to the poundage, where this remains smooth throughout the process. Everything fits snugly and has a premium feel. It’s super easy to use, has a nice weight and extremely well designed. Definitely worth the money if you want a tool above the rest.

I have a very nice la marzocco linea micra and have tried a few different tools for distribution and tamping. So far this has been the best one. Heavy duty, feels solid, and works very well. I was not expecting it to perform as it's not one of the "big names" for espresso tools, but it has exceeded expectations.

I'm thoroughly impressed by the design, versatility and top notch quality of this 3 in one tool. This is a tamper, dosing funnel and a WST distribution tool all combined in an ingenious design that is high quality and works excellent. The tamper has a built in spring that clicks when the right amount of pressure has been applied. The distribution tool works really well for the way it is designed and the dosing funnel is just an extra bonus, as I didn't even realize it had this when I ordered it. I don't own anything else from this company but happy to add more to my collection because of the great quality.

I got this as a donation to my office's new espresso machine (we've all been pitching in items to make our coffee game at work better).I was initially hesitant about the price of this item coming from China and not having any other experience with espresso tools before. I chose this item because it looked like decent quality...and I was right.The tamper is heavy in the hand giving it a really solid, sturdy feel. It includes a 30# spring so you get the same damping force everytime (kind of like a torque wrench click. REALLY easy to use). The distributor/clump breaker is really fun to use. It slides into the hand and magnetically sticks so it doesn't fall out. The whole experience is really satisfying and fun to use. The size of the tamper was accurate and fit our 59mm portafilter.I was disappointed with the portafiler cone device...not because the product itself doesn't work--it's made of mill aluminum like the rest of the product, and magnetically connects to the portafilter without an issue--but it doesn't work with the grinder our office purchased. The grinder has little arms that hold the portafilter and do not allow any more room for the funnel/cone device. I used it once with a different grinder and it worked great. I was so satisfied and happy with it.This device is really an industrialist upgrade to a basic wooden handle tamper.

I only recently heard about BOOKOO from their new coffee scale. But, when the opportunity came up to try out this BOOKOO 3-in-1 Espresso Tamper, I decided I'd give it a go. My wife works in healthcare, so there's a fair bit of coffee consumed in this house--but only recently have we taken more of an interest in the hobby-side of things.As someone new to the hobby, I appreciate how foolproof this is: it has a funnel/guide, it's self-leveling, and the click to let me know that it has been tamped enough takes the guesswork out of this step. The distribution tool that magnetically attaches to the handle is also quite nice, and as someone who is fond of the right to repair movement, I'm thrilled to see that the little "needles" are replaceable by end users. I also find it very easy to clean and intuitive to put back together.Again, I'm not a coffee/espresso expert. But, given that this is my first "nice" coffee tool, I'm really impressed with how easy it makes everything.

You never quite know if something is going to be as good as it looks. This piece of gorgeousness just blew me away. The brief must have been, “I don’t care what the cost is, it’s got to be a work of art”.
It is reassuringly heavy, works beautifully and the hidden needles are a work of genius. It tamps with or without the tamping ring and the design means the tamper will always tamp the coffee perfectly horizontal.
